A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, receives fuel from a KC-130J Hercules assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 352, MAG-11, 3rd MAW during an aviation delivered ground refueling (ADGR) as part of exercise Slingshot in Pohnpei, Micronesia June 26, 2026. ADGR is a tactical capability allowing Marine Corps aircraft to fuel other aircraft or ground vehicles in austere, forward locations without established infrastructure.
