U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB) in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, conduct barrier reinforcement operations in Naco, Ariz., July 14, 2026. JTF-SB Marines are reinforcing existing physical barriers to support federal law enforcement agency operations along the U.S.-Mexico border. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
