The ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command holds a dedication ceremony for the restored Books of Remembrance at Combined Forces Command Headquarters, Camp Humphreys, South Korea, June 25, 2026, in commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the Korean War. The Books of Remembrance preserve the names of nearly 38,000 fallen United Nations service members from 16 nations. University students from the United Nations Korean War Allies Youth Alliance (UNKWAYA) restored the books by hand, helping preserve the legacy of the fallen and strengthen the enduring bond between the Republic of Korea and the United Nations sending nations.
