The 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command marked a major leadership transition during a change of responsibility ceremony at Kelly Gym on Camp Walker, Republic of Korea, July 7, 2026.
Command Sgt. Maj. Elfonso Green relinquished responsibility as the command’s senior enlisted leader to Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Towns, closing out two years of service with Team 19 alongside Brig. Gen. Jin H. Pak.
The ceremony recognized Green’s leadership, mentorship, and impact on Soldiers across Area IV, while welcoming Towns as he assumes responsibility for guiding the enlisted force of the 19th ESC.
As the command continues its sustainment mission on the Korean Peninsula, the transition reflects the discipline, continuity, and readiness that keep Team 19 prepared to support the fight tonight and strengthen the ROK–U.S. alliance.
