U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26 and Royal Australian Navy personnel compete in the Forces Football 2026 game in Darwin, Australia, July 4, 2026. Forces Football 2026 is the fourth annual soccer match held between MRF-D and the RAN Football Federation Australia men’s and women’s soccer teams. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
