1st Armored Division and the city of El Paso, Texas, celebrated 250 years of freedom during the America 250th Celebration at the El Paso Convention Center, July 4, 2026. The event allowed El Paso residents to get up close with an M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams Main Battle Tank and an M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and featured a live performance by the 1st Armored Division Rock Band.
