U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 26, and Australian Army soldiers presented the colors and sang their national anthems at the Top End Bull Spectacular 2026 in Darwin, Australia, July 4, 2026. The Marines of MRF-D were invited to attend the rodeo in celebration of American Independence Day and to demonstrate the continued friendship between the U.S. and Australia. MRF-D is a six-month forward deployment in Australia that strengthens combined interoperability with the ADF and provides rapid crisis-response options for the joint force across the Indo-Pacific.
