Construction crews and Forest Service civil engineers complete and water the final stream meander for phase 2 of the Resurrection Creek Restoration Project June 23, 2026, on the Chugach National Forest near Anchorage, Alaska. The Resurrection Creek Restoration Project is a collaborative partnership between the Forest Service, non-profit organizations and private industry to restore historical watershed functions, enhance salmon spawning habitat and reclaim past mining corridors on the Chugach National Forest.
