Soldiers assigned to 5th Transportation Company, 765th Transportation (Terminal) Battalion, United States Army Japan, ready the Fort Stanwix tug boat to sail for the Combined Joint Logistics Over-The-Shore (CJLOTS) exercise at Pohang Port, South Korea, June 23, 2026. Conducted in the Republic of Korea from June 15 to Aug. 22, 2026, CJLOTS 26 is a combined logistics exercise sponsored by U.S. Transportation Command that trains U.S. and ROK forces to execute ship-to-shore sustainment operations in austere environments without a fixed port infrastructure. CJLOTS integrates U.S. and Republic of Korea lighterage and ship-to-shore connector capabilities, which enhances interoperability and expands combined maritime sustainment capacity during logistics operations.
