U.S. Soldiers from Bravo Company, 1st Infantry Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, conduct a squad live fire exercise at the Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, May 30, 2026. A squad live-fire exercise, enhances combat readiness and strengthens interoperability with allied forces. This training reinforces tactical proficiency, lethality, and mission command while building the confidence and cohesion required to operate in complex environments. Exercises such as these directly support the Army's Readiness by ensuring Soldiers and units remain trained, capable, and prepared to respond to missions whenever and wherever called upon.
