U.S. Marines with X-Ray Company, Headquarters and Service Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border conduct rappel tower training with U.S. Border Patrol agents in El Centro, Calif., June 3, 2026. This training provided Marines and Border Patrol agents an opportunity to strengthen interagency partnerships while conducting training operations in a controlled environment. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Homeland Security and CBP within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
