U.S. Army Soldiers, assigned to the 8th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, play a volleyball match with students of the Orzysz High School in Orzysz, Poland, June 3, 2026. Soldiers at Bemowo Piskie Training Area have been invited to a variety of community outreach events. V Corps encourages Soldiers forward-deployed in Poland and throughout Europe to regularly take part in community outreach events, strengthening personal ties with local civilians and host-nation partners, while improving Soldiers’ quality of life by reducing deployment stress and fostering cohesive community relationships.
