U.S. Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division, conduct the 1-501st AB Belt Buckle Rodeo on Fort Bliss, Texas, May 26, 2026. The belt buckle rodeo, similar to a cavalry scout spur ride, consisted of multiple strenuous events and ruck marches to earn the battalion belt buckle, building camaraderie within the battalion and distinguishing themselves from other aviation units.
