Military Working Dogs on Miesau Army Depot are receiving a quality-of-life upgrade. Demolition of the MWD kennel began on June 1, 2026. The kennel is being remodeled to improve safety and comfort for the dogs. Sgt. 1st Class Jay Espinosa, kennel master for the 100th Military Working Dog Detachment, 18th Military Police Brigade, and Mathias Reh, general engineer with the 21st Theater Sustainment Command G-4 Engineering/Construction Branch, talk about the restoration and modernization of the kennel and what this means for the dogs.
