Taking place inside the Caldor Fire burn scar, the project utilizes red fir, Jeffrey pine, and western white pine to establish a more resilient forest structure. Funded by partnerships with American Forests and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation under the REPLANT Act, the initiative has placed approximately 50,000 trees at the resort over the past two years, contributing to a broader regional effort that planted roughly 250,000 seedlings across the forest this year to restore fire-damaged lands.
