1st Infantry Division Change of Responsibility Ceremony, May 26, 2026 at Cavalry Parade Field, Fort Riley, Kansas. Maj. Gen. Monte Rone presided over the change of responsibility as Command Sgt. Maj. Derek Noyes relinquished responsibility of the 1st Infantry Division to Command Sgt. Maj. James Hughbanks. Noyes served three years as the senior enlisted advisor for the Big Red One.
