U.S. Marine Corps Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians and U.S. Navy Sailors with Marine Corps Installations East perform patrol and demolition operations for unexploded ordnance on Browns Island, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, May 21, 2026. Browns Island remains strictly off-limits due to ongoing live-fire training exercises and the presence of dangerous unexploded ordnance.
