The Semper Fred 5k is a family-friendly, all-age event held in historic Downtown Fredericksburg the day before the Marine Corps Historic Half: a 13.1-mile race weaved throughout Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, home to over 200 businesses and several historic sites. These annual races generate community goodwill, foster public relations, and increases advocacy for individual health while emphasizing the Marine Corps’ warrior ethos.
