LAURINBURG, N.C. – Members of the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, conduct quarterly training maneuvers with Australian professional aerobatic pilot Aarron Deliu at Laurinburg-Maxton Airport, May 5-6, 2026. The joint sessions were held in preparation for an upcoming airshow season that will see Deliu and the Golden Knights perform together at multiple venues, including the FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach, Wantagh, N.Y., May 24-25; the Wings Over South Texas Air Show at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, May 9-10; the Beale Air and Space Expo at Beale Air Force Base, Calif., June 7-8; and the Joint Base Andrews Airshow, Camp Springs, Md., in September. Deliu, a native of Perth, Australia, is the reigning Air Masters Cup Series and Sky Grand Prix champion and an international airshow performer. The Golden Knights, established in 1959, have represented the Army at airshows and events worldwide for more than six decades. (U.S. Army video by DAC Frank J. Strumila)
