Deputy Joint Program Executive Officer for Chemical, Biological Radiological & Nuclear Defense, Mr. Dan McCormick, presented Mr. Jack Wilson with the Honorable Order of the Dragon on behalf of the Chief of Chemical and Commandant of the US Army CBRN School, Brigadier General Daryl Hood.
The Chemical Corps Regimental Association recognizes Dragon Soldiers and Civilians who have demonstrated the highest standards of integrity and moral character, an outstanding degree of professional competence, and have contributed to the promotion of the Chemical Corps in numerous ways over the course of their career.
In the Department of Defense, honorary awards are given to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and DOD Civilians who perform in an outstanding manner and exhibit traits and qualities such as selfless service and dedication to the mission that enable the Joint Force to complete their mission and objectives in all environments around the globe. Each military branch has its own prestigious awards and time honored traditions for recognizing excellence in service.
