U.S. Navy Seabees assigned to the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1 (NMCB-1) and U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 302nd Water Master Company, 9th Mission Support Command, move crates of emergency drinking water from light medium tactical vehicles at the Garapan Fishing Village in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, April 24, 2026. Several locations around Saipan are being used to hand out drinking water to the community in the days following Typhoon Sinlaku. Local agencies are working with Joint Task Force-Micronesia, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide humanitarian aid to Saipan residents after major infrastructure damages around the island following the typhoon.
