U.S. Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, participate in a command post exercise in mission oriented protective posture level 2 gear in reaction to a simulated chemical biological radiological nuclear (CBRN) threat at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, April 17, 2026. Incorporating a simulated CBRN threat into a CPX gave Marines an opportunity to become more familiar with how to react and continue working in austere environments, as well as to as improve CLR-1s capabilities in logistic operations, future planning, and combat readiness in preparation for future operations.
