U.S. Airmen assigned to various units across Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson participate in "Cargo University," a three-day pre-deployment training course hosted by the 773d Logistics Readiness Squadron at the Joint Mobility Complex on JBER, Alaska, April 14-16, 2026. The course streamlines several cargo preparation requirements, teaching Airmen how to weigh, label and secure equipment onto pallets using proper tie-down techniques to ensure safe and efficient transport during global deployment operations.
