Combat Medics of the 996th Medical Company Area Support (MCAS), Arizona Army National Guard, conducted Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training for themselves and several other units, while bivouacking in the rugged and exposed landscape of Florence Military Reservation, Florence, Ariz, on April 17-18, 2026.
The Combat Medics of the MCAS conduct frequent trainings like this to continually hone their skills to ensure that each of them is trained to the highest degree possible and always ready to provide the best possible medical care to our Warfighters. They also use their expertise to train the Soldiers of the AZARNG in the elements of TCCC to create a well-trained and cohesive force.
