U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the Multi-Functional Reconnaissance Company (MFRC), 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, conducted Operation Arctic Tech, a weeklong training event at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, from April 7 through April 10. The exercise was a familiarization and execution event testing platoons in the MFRC with the utilization of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), electronic warfare (EW) and counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS), during reconnaissance operations in a cold weather environment.
