U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune utilize an XR150 Portable X-Ray to scan a simulated ordinance threat during a USMC explosive ordnance disposal team of the year competition at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 13, 2026. 8th Engineer Support Battalion hosted more than 50 Marines from across the institution to foster camaraderie and esprit de corps across the EOD units by administering challenging EOD emergency response and operations scenarios with the winning team being recognized by the congressional EOD caucus.
