Two Globemaster IIIs—one at JBPHH and one at Joint Base Charleston—are fully loaded with specialized rescue equipment, survival craft, and highly-trained pararescuemen to provide rapid-response contingency rescue and recovery capabilities for the Orion spacecraft return to Earth.
