U.S. Soldiers and Kenya Defence Forces rangers exchange knowledge on unmanned aerial systems (UAS), including components, operations, and simulator flights, during Justified Accord 2026 at the Humanitarian Peace Support School, Nairobi, Kenya, March 11, 2026. Justified Accord 2026 is a multinational exercise that brings together partner forces to strengthen interoperability and enhance collective capabilities. Through shared expertise, participating forces integrate UAS into combined operations across a range of mission sets, including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision strike capabilities.
JA26 increases multinational interoperability in support of humanitarian assistance and crisis response, prepares regional partners for United Nations and African Union missions, and builds readiness for the U.S. joint force. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and hosted in Djibouti, Kenya, and Tanzania, JA26 is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa.
