The new Marines of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 10th, 2025. Graduation took place at the completion of the 13-week transformation which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions. Following graduation, the Marines were given 10 days of leave before taking the next step in training at the School of Infantry at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California.
MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER, Calif.- Marines with Scout Platoon of the Weapons Company of the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, along with a British Royal Marine Commando Sniper Team, and sniper instructors from II MEF EOTG , conducted a Fleet Experimental Exercise at Range 215, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, California, from September 16 through October 3, 2025.
Ryan competed against thousands of other firefighters all over the U.S. to earn the award which recognizes firefighters for their outstanding contributions. The award is part of the VFW National Awards for Public Servants and includes awards for emergency medical technicians, law enforcement, public safety emergency dispatchers and explosive ordnance disposal technicians.
