Members of the Army Reserve Aviation Command conducted a large-scale formation at Fort Knox, Kentucky on Sept. 12, 2025. The formation consisted of 15 aircraft and celebrated the final formation flight for 8-229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, which will inactivate per ATI EXORD 222-25 no later than Sept. 15, 2026.
