Due to his wife's efforts and the donations of area residents, a Fort Hood soldier and philanthropist received a big surprise Saturday when his beloved 1987 Volkswagen Scirocco, which he called "POS" and "the beast" due to its disrepair, was unveiled, completely restored.
Members of the 111th MMB and 582nd MLC conducted Medical Maintenance Support Training for the Iraqi security forces personnel at the Iraqi Medical Clinic #1, June 10 -14 and July 5 - 9, 2009. Eighteen ISF Soldiers at-tended the courses of instruction. The Instructors included Staff Sgt. Keith Hall, Sgt. Scott Moir, and Chief D. Kip Sheldon. Gilbert Israel, linguist with Global Language Solutions LLC, assisted in the training as interpreter.
