A hoax caller somewhere between Seaside, Ore., and Chinook, Wash., has been relaying false distress calls to the Coast Guard since April 2016. The hoax caller has made 22 false distress calls, and the Coast Guard is seeking the public's help in finding the person making the illegal calls.
