The Navy's prototype Divers Augmented Visual Display is about to erase the problem of low visibility underwater. By adding smart glasses to the inside of the helmet, divers will be able to receive sonar images showing their location, as well as text messages and schematics of underwater objectives. Diver Augmented Vision Display (DAVD) is a heads-up display prototype created at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division.
