Investigating the looting or theft of cultural patrimony and art, and returning the recovered objects to their countries of origin are an important part of ICE's diverse mission. The objects returned today were recovered by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) offices from around the United States and are being repatriated to Mexico, their country of origin.
