Soldiers of the 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion, headquartered in Twin Falls, returned home today after spending the past three weeks at Fort Hood, Texas, conducting annual training. At a ceremony on Gowen Field May 19, the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team dedicated a memorial to the Soldiers lost in its two deployments to Iraq. The deployments, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III in 2004-2005 and Operation New Dawn in 2010-2011, were the largest deployments in the Idaho Army National Guard's history....
