PATROL BASE MEHRAJ, Helmand province, Afghanistan - Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, patrol toward Observation Post Padlek. The Marines built the post with their combat shovels and bare hands. It took them under a week to complete, and they are now patrolling from this location to continue pushing the enemy back....
