Maine soldiers with 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment recently completed their annual training in Fort Drum, New York. One of the annual requirements for the aviation unit is qualifying at an aerial gunnery range. The two closest locations that have ranges to support that are Fort Drum, and Gagetown, Canada. Maine and New York National Guard Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 142nd Aviation Regiment are training together in Fort Drum, New York.
