Hikers start the new year off with a snowshoe trip to 9,281-foot Mount Baldy, via Picnic Rock and Martis Peak, a fire lookout, overlooking Lake Tahoe, all on the Tahoe National Forest, Pacific Southwest Region, USDA Forest Service, Jan. 18, 2025.
