A Coast Guard aircrew aboard an MH-65 Dolphin Helicopter from Air Facility Newport rescued a man stranded on the rocks below “God’s Thumb” north of Lincoln City, Ore., Sept. 2, 2019. The aircrew lowered a rescue swimmer to hoist the man off the cliffs and return him safely to the shore line without any injuries reported.
