米海艦船修理廠及び日本地区造修統括本部（SRF-JRMC）は米海軍横須賀及び佐世保基地に配備されている艦船に様々な艦船修理・整備・近代化のサービスを提供することで、第７艦隊の艦船を常に機能できる状態に保っている。業務やサービスは工場によって異なるが、すべての工場がこの使命を維持する責任を果たしている。

米軍海艦船修理廠及び日本地区造修統括本部（SRF-JRMC）2014年度技能訓練生卒業式が３月７日に開催され、25名の訓練生が4年間の集中的な訓練プログラムを修了、各自の職種においてジャーニーマン(技能工）に昇格した。
