Radio news story. Teachers from Meadows Elementary School got to experience the day in the life of a Soldier. The visited the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment motor pool and learned about the different vehicles and equipment the unit uses. They ate lunch with Soldiers at the Black Jack Dining Faculty. Then they did room clearing operations, return fire and a virtual turkey hunt....

SGT Jeremy Wood and SPC Michael Jensen, both with the 89th Military Police Brigade, won this year's III Corps Best Warrior Competition, earning them the distinction of Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year, respectively. 23 competitors were evaluated on military battle tasks and drills as well as their military bearing. Both Soldiers are stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado....
