Army Medicine Legacy of Care Apr 21 - 27
This issue features The U.S. Medical Reserve Corps was established and served as the
predecessor to the U.S. Army Reserve. By June, the first 160 reserve medical officers received their commissions. This number grew to about 360 by 1909, 1,900 by 1916, and 9,223 by 1917.
