The Herd is Sheppard Air Force Base's weekly internal newsletter publication. Geared towards providing Airmen necessary information from around the installation, The Herd is designed to be a quick, light and entertaining read. The publication is created weekly by the 82nd Training Wing Public Affairs Office but consistently features submissions from all over base.
