It is an honor to celebrate the anniversary of our famed Division's activation with our Tropic Lightning Soldiers, Veterans, Families and Friends. We are excited to share our "State of the Division" on behalf of the nearly 12,000 Tropic Lightning Soldiers currently wearing the taro leaf and lightning bolt patch, which generations of Soldiers have made famous since 1941.
America's Pacific Division remains engaged across the Indo-Pacific region, training and building relationships with partner-nation militaries, while maintaining readiness to fight and win whenever and wherever we are called upon.
Today's Tropic Lightning Soldiers are adding new chapters to our storied legacy while honoring the historic achievements of our fellow Soldiers who came before us. It is our humble privilege to lead these great men and women, and it is our pleasure to share with you their accomplishments from the past year.
