The Windsock is the weekly official newspaper for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, and serves as an internal information clearing house about base events, tenant units within II Marine Aircraft Wing stationed aboard the installation, and events within the local civilian community of Havelock and the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. The Windsock is a tabloid-style newspaper with News and Life & Times sections. It's circulation of 12,000 copies is distributed throughout the air station and local community, as well as the Web.
