We present to you our annual Year in Review as the best way we know to appreciate the past year’s accomplishments.
What a landmark year it was! Capt. Tony Holmes took the reins of our command for his first full year. We see this influence most clearly in his rigorous and intentional path for our command toward wartime readiness, a framework now leading the way for the warfare center enterprise.
NSWC PHD also celebrated 60 years of steady, upward growth achieved through extraordinary service and success in support of the Fleet. The broad range of anniversary events we shared connected us in new ways and paid tribute to our founders. We also produced a landmark 60th Anniversary Publication that we are extremely proud of as a comprehensive accounting of the past, present and anticipated future of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division.
Our team members continued stretching the capabilities of this command with multiple wins in critical, high-visibility tests this past year that affirmed the U.S. Navy’s combat superiority. We also hosted important strategic and collaborative events and some of the Navy’s most distinguished visitors.
