Air Force athletes compete to be on the 2017 Air Force Wounded Warrior Team. The winners will be competing at the 2017 DoD Warrior Games in Chicago June 30 - July 8, 2017.

At the closing ceremony of the 2016 DOD Warrior Games, it was announced that the games will move to Chicago to be hosted by the Navy in 2017.

It's another one in the books with the end of the 2016 DoD Warrior Games here at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

Approximately 250 athletes representing teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as well as the United Kingdom (UK) Military Forces are participating in the 2016 Warrior Games competition.

The 2016 DoD Warrior Games here at the Unites States Military Academy in West Point New York are winding down with the completion of the day’s swimming events.

Approximately 250 athletes representing teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as well as the U.K. Armed Forces are participating in 2016 Warrior Games competition.

The 2016 DoD Warrior Games are nearing the halfway point with day three's archery events completed. At the end of day three Team Army leads the medal count with 114 medals, Team Air Force with 59 medals, and third is team Navy with 34 medals.

Approximately 250 athletes representing teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as well as the United Kingdom (UK) Military Forces are participating in the 2016 Warrior Games competition.

The 2016 Warrior Games is in full swing and today's events included track and field, athletes demonstrated their skills in numerous adaptive sporting events. Approximately 250 athletes representing teams from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as well as the British Armed Forces are participating in the 2016 Warrior Games competition.

2015 – A DoD News Web Special highlighting the defense.gov Special Reports page which offers complete coverage of the 2015 Department of Defense Warrior Games official closing ceremony in Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA. Over 250 athletes throughout the armed forces participated in the event which took place from June 19-28. The games were designed to promote the resiliency and warrior spirit of wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, caregivers, and families.

Team Army kept the medal count tight Monday in day two of competition for the 2013 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs. The intra-military paralympic style air pistols and rifle shooting event tightened the Chairman's Cup points total for rival teams Marine Corps and Army. The true rivalry will unfold on the courts later in the games schedule when the two services face off at the Air Force Academy. Warrior Transition Command's Staff Sgt. Tracy Smith reports on the action courtside at the U.S. Olympic Center.
