News: Ten New York Army National Guard soldiers return to the Capital Region on Christmas Eve after a year away
LATHAM, N.Y.- Ten soldiers of the New York Army National Guard's 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team return to the Capital Region tonight, Christmas Eve, after demobilizating at Camp Shelby, Miss. The soldiers have been away from home for about a year.
They are among 100 National Guard soldiers who will be reunited with their families at armories in Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester, the Capital Region, New York City, and Newburgh tonight.
