QUANTICO, Va. - Marquis, Quantico Middle/High School Lady Warriors’ Basketball Team player, attempts fast break during a game against last year’s champions, the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons, in Fredericksburg on Dec. 13.
The Falcons’ defensive pressure hurt the Warriors most of the game. The Falcons had no problem stealing and rebounding the ball on multiple occasions.
The Warriors came back from being down by 10 points late in the first half. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the Falcons turned up the heat in the second half and left the Warriors behind, winning the game, 48-20.
