FORT HOOD, Texas - Fort Hood officials have released the name of a soldier who died June 10 from injuries sustained from a gunshot wound in Killeen, Texas.
Spc. Jordan Lee Holladay, 21, whose home of record is listed as Portland, Ore., entered active-duty service in January 2011 as a aircraft pneudraulics repairer. He was assigned to 615th Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division since January 2012.
Holladay's awards and decorations include National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Aviation Badge.
Circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation.
